DREAMS

These are some of the most prominent dreams that we have collected so far. This is just a small amount of reports that we've recieved, and we continue to recieve more every day:

"There was this dream that I would have over and over again when I was a teenager...It was one of those dreams that happens just before you get into that deep sleep, where you kind of jolt awake after you feel like you're falling, but this one was just weird...I would always be standing in this golden wheat field, the stalks up to my stomach. There was nothing else around, just a billowing sea of wheat as far as the eye could see, with a pure blue sky horizon. As I was turning around and around to see all of my surroundings, my eyes would always across a pure black figure looming far away from me, but when I would do a double take, it would be gone. I would just stand there, squinting and straining to see where it went...when I would notice something moving towards me through the wheat. It was moving fast, too fast for me to run and have a chance. I would see two things before waking up: a black tail whisking excitedly above the sea of wheat, trailing behind whatever was violently parting the stalks...and lastly, whenever the thing finally reached me, I would see this cat's face breaching the wheat as it launched itself directly at me. That's when I would have that falling feeling that would always jolt me awake...but I would be drenched in sweat, with my covers tossed everywhere, as if I had been violently thrashing in my sleep."

"It was last night actually, that I first dream of this cat...I was driving in my car and it was the middle of the night. My headlights weren't on and I couldn't get them to work no matter how hard I tried, but the moon was just really huge and bright in the sky right in front of me. The moon illuminated just enough of the road that I could see the lines on the pavement, and the trees and foliage that lined either side of what seemed to be a really old rural backroad. I was driving for what felt like hours in just a few minutes, when suddenly, I heard a knock on the passenger side door. Startled, I looked over and saw this face staring back at me through the window, even though I had to be driving at least 55...I couldn't stop looking at the cat, and it just kept staring. Finally it lifted a hand, a cat paw with these long fingers, and waved at me. That's when I crashed the car."
